Steve Prefontaine was one of America greatest distance runners. He died in a car accident on Skyline Boulevard in 1975. Now this is historical Memorial called Pre's Rock. In Eugene, Pre's Rock is know by all the runners. Many come and put shoes bib numbers by the site. (This a picture I found online)The First B

Great job on stadium picture. You really showed how it had developed over the years. And it is very close if not perfect to the original framing.
ReplyDeletegood idea with finding the old pictures to go with the new. my suggestion would be to, instead of just taking a snapshot of the stone or stadium, work with the composition and angles to make the picture more interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like how you chose to clone the picture off of the historical one I think it allows us to really see how it has changed. I might play with the lighting a little on the last picture to see how you can make it more interesting.
ReplyDeleteI really like the stadium ones...on the church it would have been cool to have an original...maybe you could have looked inside the church to see if they had a photograph of it...
