Project #5: (animals) My Dog

  1. I like the first picture with the dog at the top. My eye follows the lawn up to the dog. My only suggestion would be to have raised the camera a bit to prevent cutting off the ear.

  2. Ryan, nice job in the placement of your first photo. My eye rests on this one and it flows well. The other two you need to burn in his body a bit as they are both oversaturated with light and it makes him almost angelic like...or like a cut out shape. Burn the body so that we see texture and he feels planted and solid to the viewer. (unless of course you were trying to make him angelic like?)

  3. I think the second one is actually my favorite. I like the contrast between the white dog and the green grass, and the perspective is really interesting. I think the close ups of his face would have been really cool

  4. I think the 1st one is the strongest. It has good composition. Framing the dog like that gives the picture an interesting feel. Do more pictures with compositions like this.
